Offices in Kabul
MADERA’s main offices have been based in Kabul since early 2002, so as to be in contact with the various Afghan government ministries, donor representatives, NGOs and other international aid actors.
MADERA’s headquarters in Kabul provide general services, country management, financial management, and monitoring-evaluation and from this central location, the supervision of the various programs distributed in the East and Central areas of Afghanistan is carried out.
Support to the
National Animal Vaccine Production Laboratory
The only project that was implemented in the city of Kabul was to support the national Animal Vaccine Production Laboratory.
Between January 2004 - 2013, MADERA received financial support from the European Union, to work in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock of Afghanistan, to reactive this laboratory, whose production was interrupted for several years due to the almost complete destruction of the laboratory and its equipment.
This project is part of the integrated approach to improve the Afghan veterinary sector, to which MADERA also participates through a network of veterinary clinics in the Eastern and Central regions.
